Sonitus Systems’ MD Joins Judging Panel for Global ESG Awards

The Sonitus Systems team is delighted to announce the appointment of Managing Director, Paul McDonald, to the international judging panel for the upcoming Global ESG Awards (https://globalesgawards.com/) at MIPIM in Cannes, France on the 12th of March 2024. Paul is one of three Irish members selected to join this judging panel. This appointment is a nod to his pioneering role in environmental monitoring and commitment to improving and innovating the practice of acoustics, notably through his presence on the WELL Building Institute’s global ‘Sound Concept Advisory’ (https://www.wellcertified.com/).

The Global ESG Awards, which will be taking place at the well-known MIPIM (https://www.mipim.com/) conference, were established to recognise excellence in environmental, social, and governance within the construction and real estate sectors. The awards are particularly focused on the PropTech, CleanTech, ClimateTech and ConTech sectors, inviting those at the forefront of sustainable innovation to showcase their innovation by entering the awards. Entries for the awards are open until January 31st, allowing companies and individuals to demonstrate their commitment to ESG. The awards ceremony is set to take place on the Grand Auditorium stage at MIPIM on the 12th of March 2024, from 16:45 to 17:45. Enter now- https://globalesgawards.com/

These awards are an initiative of the European Union Building Innovation Network (EUBIN – https://www.linkedin.com/company/eubin/about/), highlighting the importance of innovation and sustainability in the EU’s built environment. Being powered by EUBIN strengthens the impact of the awards in promoting the implementation of ESG principles across the real estate and construction sectors, and highlights the drive towards a more sustainable and responsible future.

Paul McDonald, along with fellow international judging members, will assist in evaluating entries and identify companies or individuals who are making significant contributions to drive sustainability across the built environment. The members will no doubt play a vital role in making the awards the statement event, showcasing the sector’s commitment to building a more sustainable future, hopefully setting the standard for innovation in environmental, social and governance within all industries.
